Product Description

BSI KITEMARKED HIGH SECURITY ONE STAR RATING BRITISH STANDARD Cylinder

The security of any door assembly is a combination of many factors including the door construction and physical environment surrounding the door.

However, the cylinder is probably the most vulnerable element in the assembly and is therefore subject to severe requirements of resistance to physical attack and other aspects of security such as key control.

TS 007:2014 + A2:2018 is the latest Kitemarked security standard for replacement lock cylinders and protective door furniture. TS 007 was developed by the trade body the DHF (Door and Hardware Federation) and the GGF (Glass and Glazing Federation).

GMB One Star Cylinder is classified in TS 007 KITEMARK according to star rating since from 2017.

A kitemarked TS 007 cylinder is designed to replace the Eurocylinder typically used in locks found in entrance doors from the market. Higher security to the Kitemarked TS 007 standard can be also achieved by a TS 007 cylinder marked with one star and TS 007 security door furniture such as a strengthened door handle.

GMB One Star Cylinder is designed to defeat lock attacks of 5 methods: Picking, Drilling, Snapping, Bumping and Plug Extraction. It can be a reliable solution to home security.
